FAQ
Hondo High School: water damage FAQs
Still unsure? A person answers the phone 24/7 and can talk you through it.
Can my family stay home during drying?
Usually, yes, for clean-water losses. The equipment is loud but safe. We keep walkways clear and tell you if any room should be off-limits.
The bathtub overflowed and the ceiling below is wet. Will it need to come down?
Not always. If the drywall is sagging or the water was dirty, it needs to come out. Otherwise, it can often be dried in place.
How long does it take?
Most clean-water losses dry in three to five days.
